GROW: New Moon Planting
For Christmas I was gifted with a sensational growing tray for my start-up garden! It has lots of little spaces for planting my seeds, a nice big domed lid so that I have (a little more) control over the growing conditions of my seedlings, and air vents to (help) adjust the humidity!
How much Mother Nature actually allows me to temper her dramatic swings up here in the tropics is yet to be seen!

GROW: Re-birth, for lives lost.
So… let’s try again shall we. Today is re-seeding and re-planting day!!!
My initial attempt at growing food from seed was at first a success, but was swiftly followed by heart breaking results as I left my seedlings unattended for too long! 😦
So today I’ve taken the pots, the soil and the seeds out onto the porch for some sunshine happy “green-thumbing”!!!

GROW: Spring forth joyously my loves!!
I HAVE SEEDLINGS!!!!
YAY!!! So after about a week (give or take, and forgive me as I’m writing this past tense!!) of tender love and care; and moving my little pots from the shade to the morning sun, and back to the dappled afternoon sun/ shade where there is a gentle breeze…. We have lift off!!!
I am SO impressed with the progress my sweet little darlings are making!!

JOY: Flossing for Blogs!!!
SECOND ROLL OF FLOSS…. SECOND BLOG FOR THE WEEK!!! YAY!!!
So the radical habit forming enthusiasm has been given a HUGE boost this week with the arrival of my inspiring, energetic, and fabulously healthy sister Christie! She has come to visit from Sydney for a week and has brought all of her raw, vegan, nutrition, yoga, exercise energy with her! Double YAY!
This week has been heavenly for my insides, green smoothies for breakfast, big dark green and colourful salads for lunch and dinner, I’ve made my brazil nut milk, have sprouting buckwheat in my fridge, have chia, goji, banana and black sapote parfait in my fridge as we speak, I made my first freestyle pumpkin soup last (inspired by the pumpkin in the kitchen and the sick flatmate!)
